Baby Boom...sigh

Okay is it just me or is EVERYONE having babies?  Everywhere I look there are pregnant women and babies and it makes trying to take a month off and NOT think about babies and being pregnant very difficult.    Maybe it is because of the age that I am at, or maybe it is because now I notice it more because we have been trying for so long to have a baby, but come on people!  I feel like I am getting out numbered!!!

Facebook is the worst.  I've heard it called Fertilebook because it is a place people tend to showcase things like ultrasounds, growing bellies and baby pictures.  I tend to be a bit obnoxious and post large amounts of photographs of my "babies" too:

There...now I don't feel so left out.  Gosh, its like having a baby is the "in" thing.  I guess I usually tend to jump on trends once they are on their way out the door.  Could this be one of those things?  Once it is no longer the cool thing to do, I can finally have mine?

Anyways, just to update you I am CD15 (usually expect between a 31-34 day cycle) and then I go back in for another blood test and hopefully I will be cyst free and ready to get started.  It honestly can not come quick enough.

On the bright side of things I have officially lost 7.4 pounds in a month since I began a health contest with some family and friends.  So I've got that going for me...

YES!! Everyone is pregnant. And they got pregnant withou even trying or got it on te first month! I couldn't even look at some of our neighbors at our old house bc they constantly told me how easy it was to get pregnant, how fast it happened etc. I wrote a post about it...I had to come home and have a shot of tequila after a walk on a Saturday afternoon flyer talking to them. Ugh. Annoying.

Yes, Amber I remember that post! One thing I am lucky about is for the most part people are aware of what I am going through and have been pretty sensitive. However, when you meet new people or just random people in public is when the dumb comments come out.

I felt the exact same way after my mc two years ago. It didn't help that my two bffs were pregnant at the time and that brought it in my face constantly. And the fact that one of those got pregnant with both of her kids the very first month they tried. She didn't rub it in, but she really couldn't sympathize with my situation. I agree though, I have seen a lot of pregnant people on FB and in real life lately. Maybe we should all go where the majority of them live and drink the water ;)

Agree totally! There is a Pharmacist at work that during her first pregnancy, gave us ALL a play by play of every little experience she had!! UGG!! She knows my situation and still continued to tell me things. She is now pregnant again. No play by play this time, but she brags that she got pregnant on the first try both times! Must be nice! We just in my Dept in the last year have had 3 babies! I drink the water, so maybe that will give me an edge! Lol

Your dogs look so sweet. It's amazing how animals can become like children to us. I feel the same way about my pup.

It took us years of discussion to finally pull the trigger on being "Chicken People".  Let me tell you why, our dog Lady has Cock...
